This year, our colleagues at the German Primate Center organized once again the Primate Cognitive Neuroscience Summer School.
This time around, Wenbin attended the school, where he also presented his work on peri-saccadic visual processing in the superior colliculus, primary visual cortex, and human perception.
Ziad was also a lecturer at this summer school, describing the neural mechanisms of active vision. His presentation covered all stages of active vision, from sensation to motor generation, and from cognition to visual consequences of eye movements.
Besides the science, the summer school also presented a perfect opportunity to share with the students experiences on career paths, challenges and opportunities associated with academic careers, and science communication.
