The 9th Okazaki-Tuebingen-Beijing Symposium

Our lab was part of this year’s ninth NIPS-CIN symposium on systems neuroscience! This year’s meeting was the ninth one of its kind, demonstrating strong bilateral interactions between our institute, the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN), and the National Institute for Physiological Sciences in Okazaki, Japan (NIPS). This year, the meeting was extended to become trilateral, since colleagues from Beijing University also joined us in Okazaki.

The meeting featured strong research from all institutes involved, and the topics ranged from neurophysiology to imaging, human perception, and computational modeling. Our lab contributed two oral presentations on brainstem neurophysiology, as well as 3 different posters on human oculomotor control, human perception, and neurophysiology.

We look forward to many more interactions with our Asian colleagues.
