Our lab participated in a highly interesting focused symposium on eye and head movement control systems, which took place in Kyoto, Japan.
The symposium was a pre-meeting to this year’s annual Neural Control of Movement Society conference, taking place in Toyama, Japan.
The symposium featured varied topics from saccade control, to visual consequences of eye movements, to 3-d gaze, to smooth and vestibular movements, and finally to anatomy.
We were very happy to experience the beautiful organizational efforts by our hosts, Tadashi Isa and Mayu Takahashi, and also Kathy Cullen.
This was also a perfect time to visit Japan, with springtime cherry blossom season in full swing.
Our lab presented our recent results on saccadic suppression.
The meeting program is located here.
