Our lab was part of a delegation from Tuebingen University that went to Aix-Marseille University in France, to jumpstart a collaboration in the neurosciences. The collaboration is part of a larger network of European universities aiming to cement interactions (and student mobility) across the continent.
We got a chance to present some of our work on visual properties of the superior colliculus, as well as hear about different exciting research in Marseille on topics ranging from somatosensory perception to spatial navigation and motor control.
We look forward to many more interactions with Marseille, which will continue our tradition (given that we had been collaborating for a few years already with the likes of Prof. Laurent Goffart).
