We have a new book chapter in press on saccades and smooth pursuit eye movements in From Neuron to Cognition via Computational Neuroscience (Edited by Michael Arbib and James Bonaiuto, and published by the MIT Press).
This book is intended for advanced undergraduate and graduate students, and it contains lecture slides as well as computational simulation exercises. The book is a comprehensive reference for understanding many neuroscientific concepts from a computational perspective. The book description can be found here.
Our contribution was on the history and variety of models for saccadic and smooth pursuit eye movements. We also discussed the topic of fixational eye movement control.
