We participated in this year’s Vision Sciences Society annual meeting.
Our lab had a poster on microsaccades as well as a talk on the superior colliculus featured in this year’s program. The microsaccade poster described new observations on phase-locking of behavioral fluctuations to the generation of microsaccades, and the talk described our new results on functional specialization asymmetries within the superior colliculus. These asymmetries have implications on both visual processing and motor outputs.
